The hotel houses Restaurant Švejk, serving traditional Czech cuisine and international dishes with a modern approach. Signature dishes include goulash with Pilsner beer, roasted duck with apples, and fried cheese with tartar sauce. A breakfast buffet features Czech and international products. A themed bar in the hotel's underground level offers cocktails, refreshing beverages, and noble alcohols. An outdoor terrace sits at the lower part of Wenceslas Square at the 'Golden Cross' pedestrian zone.
Location & Transportation
Prague Inn is on Wenceslas Square in Prague 1, within the medieval heart of the city. It is steps from Metro A (Můstek) and Metro C (Museum). The Old Town Square with its historic Old Town Hall, Church of Our Lady before Týn, and St. Nicholas Church is a short walk. The property arranges limousine transfers to/from Václav Havel Airport or train stations. Covered parking is available nearby.
Services & Facilities
The concierge can arrange theater tickets, guides, and conferences in neighboring palaces with multimedia facilities. Room service offers regional gastronomic specialties, laundry, dry cleaning, and delivery of purchases. Payment by card is accepted for both accommodation and restaurant charges. A fitness center with workout machines and cardio equipment is located 100 meters from the hotel.
History & Architecture
The hotel occupies two historic buildings. One dates to the 14th century, originally a burgher house with a shop for Czech glass, decorated with frescoes by famous Czech painters. The second building in the complex originates from 1458. The architecturally interesting structure is among the oldest on Wenceslas Square and offers views of the spires and rooftops of Prague's historic center.
